SADIS is a high quality data distribution system delivering real time weather information to aviation users around the world via satellite. It is  is distributed via a VSAT broadcast service, operating 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Broadcasts include data supplied by the World Area Forecast System (WAFS) and Operational Meteorological (OPMET) data from airports all over the world.

Paradigm have been supplying VSAT terminals to SADIS subscribers for many years and have helped users migrate painlessly to the second generation SADIS 2G service with cost-effective upgrade packages.

Whether the requirement is for a complete new system or to re-use elements of existing equipment, our engineers can identify the best solution for any customer, carrying out site surveys, identifying sources of interference such as radar installations found at airport locations. Where existing system elements are to be used, we will refurbish or upgrade these as required.

We can supply a choice of digital receivers and routers, and select the antenna best suited for your location within the satellite footprint. A Lightning Protection Kit can be supplied where appropriate. As the only system integrator with ICAO/CAA authorisation, we operate a SADIS terminal, at our premises in Alton, Hampshire, dedicated to the testing and checking of equipment prior to delivery to customers’ sites. We can also supply visualisation software to allow you to make the best use of the downloaded data. Other services from Paradigm include on site system testing, training, maintenance and technical support.

Paradigm Communication Systems Ltd is an approved UK Met Office SADIS 2G system integrator.
