Manager of Managers (MoM)
Operate, administer, maintain and provision the network circuits and elements using ‘probes’ to interrogate and interact with the lower level
Management Systems (e.g. FMS, NMS, EMS).
Fault Management System (FMS)
Detect, isolate and collects faults in the network by using ‘probes’ to collect alarm, fault and configuration information from the lower Management Systems (e.g. NMS, EMS). For Monitoring, Trending and Route Cause Analysis
Network Management System (NMS)
Monitor, manage and control the network and various network elements by interrogating and interacting with the lower level Element Management
Systems (EMS) and managable devices via SNMP, Serial, ODBC or Contact Closure.
Element Management System (EMS)
Directly manage specific network elements such as satellite modems, transceivers, solid state power amplifiers or multiplexers. EMS system are created where a network element or group of network elements have no specific software management platform.
Paradigm’s network management solutions support standard telecoms network systems management as well as satellite and military communications network systems. We currently have deployed management systems to support Deployable Terminals, Vehicles, Ships, Submarines, Earth Stations and Remote VSAT Gateways.
Paradigm offer an integrated system of network management designed specifically for optimised monitoring and control of satellite earth stations and remote/deployed terminals. Our Paradigm Remote Terminal Manager (PRTM) software is a local management interface that allows you to manage all the main elements of a deployed terminal. This makes skilled terminal engineers even faster and assists unskilled users with its easy to use GUI. For those instances or deployments where there are no comms specialists present, MiCREW provides remote in-band and out of band management to the deployed terminal.
