Firmware and Software

Paradigm provide our clients with access to the latest approved firmware and software for Iridium, Inmarsat and Thuraya devices.

Typically the firmware and software can be broken down into 3 types:

• Device Firmware
• Port Drivers
• Control Software

For example, with BGAN you would have the firmware on the BGAN Terminal itself, then you would also require the neccessary drivers for the USB Port and also the BGAN Launchpad to be installed on the computer.

Its important to only use firmware revisions that have been approved by the Service Provider for use on their network.
